I have no issue when using the simulator but, when I run it on my Playdate, I get the same update required message.

Doesn't launch on 2.7.5. Seems it needs a rebuild.

Thanks for the info please see the latest build that solves this.

1.2.0 from 5 days ago is showing up as 1.1.0 on the console and will not launch.

Hmm, it works on mine from sideloading via Nova. let me have a look at it now.

My simulator 2.7.5 and my playdate is 2.7.5. When I sideload via my Mac it works if I install via adding the .zip to the sideloader on the playdate site it fails to launch with “This game must be updated to run on the current system version”???

Yep that's what I did and that's the result I got.
